Reno, NV (WorkersCompensation.com) - Former NCCI Chief Actuary Kathy Antonello is taking on a similar position at Employers Holdings, Inc., the company announced today. The Nevada-based holding company provides workers’ compensation insurance and services through its subsidiaries, including Employers Insurance Company of Nevada, Employers Compensation Insurance Company, Employers Preferred Insurance Company, and Employers Assurance Company. It focuses on small businesses involved in low-to-medium hazard industries in 45 states and the District of Columbia.
“Kathy brings to EMPLOYERS a unique and impressive array of knowledge, insights and experience in the workers’ compensation industry,” said Employers Holdings CEO Douglas D. Dirks. “We are excited to have her join the EMPLOYERS team as we aggressively develop and deploy leading edge strategies to support our small business customers.”
The company’s announcement comes as Antonello recently celebrated her sixth year in the prime spot at NCCI. In addition to a previous stint at NCCI, Antonello also served as the VP and chief actuary for Lumbermen’s Underwriting Alliance.
NCCI has named Ann Bok is the Interim chief actuary, according to Dean W. Dimke, NCCI’s Public Relations and Communications director. Bok, NCCI’s practice leader and senior actuary, has been with NCCI for more than 30 years.
