Texas 82nd Regular Legislative Session Proposed House Bill and Senate Bills Affecting Workers’ Compensation

On January 11, 2011, the legislature will meet for the 82nd Regular Session.  Downs Stanford will be tracking bills affecting workers' compensation.

 

Currently, there are three bills that warrant your attention:

•   SB 93 relates to the appointment of an attorney for a workers' compensation claimant in certain proceedings initiated by a workers' compensation insurance carrier

•   HB 528 relates to the provision of pharmaceutical services through informal and voluntary networks in the workers' compensation system; providing an administrative violation

•   SB 318 (companion bill to HB 528)
