OSHA will host virtual summit this month
OSHA will be hosting a virtual summit on June 22 to discuss workplace safety and health issues. The all-day conference costs $45 and will include keynote speakers and breakout sessions for several industries.
Advisory committee scheduled to discuss heat illness on June 30
The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health will host a virtual public meeting on June 30. The current agenda includes OSHA updates and a report from the heat injury and illness prevention work group. Comments and requests to speak during the meeting are due by June 23.
OSHA enhances heat illness prevention website page
OSHA has updated its heat illness prevention website page. The updates include improved organization of its resources on the dangers of working in hot conditions and how to keep employees safe.
