Kids' Chance of Texas is Looking For a Few Good Golfers. Or mediocre golfers. Heck, any golfers who want to have fun and enjoy supporting an outstanding cause will do. The Kids’ Chance of Texas Golf Tournament is scheduled to tee off October 28, 2021, at the Cowboys Golf Club in Dallas. They have had a great response to the event but have a few remaining golf slots to fill. And every slot filled is another boost to their scholarship program dedicated to helping Texas kids’ whose parent was seriously injured on the job.

I had the pleasure of attending this tournament last year, and it was a very well-run event. Everyone had a great time, and the money raised is helping numerous Texas kids meet their educational dreams.

The tornament schedule is:

TORNAMENT SCHEDULE

  • 11:30 AM Guest Arrival
  • 11:30 AM Lunch Set
  • 1:15 PM Final Call to Carts
  • 1:15 PM Announcements
  • 1:30 PM Shot Gun
  • 5:30 PM Dinner set
  • 5:30 – 6:30 PM Awards

Now, some people may pause to point out that the word tournament is misspelled above. They are right, but all that is missing is “U”. Get it? Get it?
