Jonesin' for a Good (Free) Longshore Seminar? Check Out NWCDN New Orleans

02 May, 2012 Bob Wilson

I just completed a CompTalk Radio interview with Sidney Degan, a New Orleans attorney involved with putting together the June seminar of the National Workers' Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN). The interview should be published tomorrow on WorkersCompensation.com. The seminar is being held June 6 and 7 in New Orleans.

While I have always been impressed with NWCDN events, I did not realize, until I spoke with Sid, the extent to which this seminar would focus on Longshore and the related Jones act. These are topics that are not as "well traveled" as others in the conference arena. In fact, I am hard pressed to remember any conference where an emphasis was put on these areas. If these jurisdictions are within your realm of interest, I would suggest you look into attending.

The NWCDN event is free to any interested employer or industry professional with a responsibility role in workers' compensation. The seminar will cover other topics as well, with an agenda overview available at www.nwcdn.com.

The NWCDN is a group of AV rated defense law firms representing approximately 45 states in the nation. Their purpose is to provide seamless representation and education to their clients with multi-jurisdictional needs.

Our program about this event should be published tomorrow. Look for it on WorkersCompensation.com, on the home page or in CompTalk Radio section of the CompNewsNetwork.
