Zurich Offers All P&C Agents Online Access

Schaumburg, IL (CompNewsNetwork) - Zurich, a leading writer of program business in North America, announced today it is offering commercial property and casualty agents free access to its Web site: http://www.ZProgramsMatch.com. This Web site, first launched in January 2009, was previously offered to only Zurich-appointed agents. Now, Zurich is giving all commercial property and casualty agents access to its more than 50 specialty insurance programs.

“The creation of this Web site provides a new, convenient way for retail agents to go directly to Zurich program administrators (PAs) and general agents (GAs) for hard-to-place risks,” said Jino Masone, head of sales, marketing and distribution for Zurich North America Commercial's Programs & Direct Markets business unit.

According to Masone, Zurich's programs are industry-specific books of commercial lines business administered through PAs and GAs, and through more than 50 unique participating programs.

Zurich's PAs offer coverage for a wide range of specialized risks. Examples of the programs available on ZProgramsMatch.com include:
• Roofing contractors
• Staffing services workers' compensation
• Gas stations and convenience stores
• Golf and country clubs
• Restaurant workers' compensation
• Lawyers' professional liability
• Builders risk
• Sixteen lines of transportation coverages

All of the programs on ZProgramsMatch.com are underwritten by Zurich, rated A/Stable* by A.M. Best.

“These are niche products, and agents don't always know where to place this kind of business,” said Jonathan Levine, division marketing director for Zurich North America Commercial's Programs & Direct Markets business unit. “This site allows agents to research each program's appetite, eligibility requirements and coverage highlights. Agents can request additional information and forms for submission from the appropriate program administrator directly from the Web site.”
