Zurich And Artex Risk Solutions, Inc. Offer WC Insurance To Temp Companies

Schaumburg, IL - Zurich, a leading property and casualty insurance provider globally and in North America, has expanded its relationship with program administrator Artex Risk Solutions, Inc. to offer workers' compensation insurance to temporary staffing companies, focusing on clerical, professional, medical professional and light industrial markets.

Artex has been a workers' compensation program administrator with Zurich for more than 15 years, specializing in workers' compensation for professional employer organizations (PEO).

Craig Fundum, president of Programs & Direct Markets for Zurich's North America Commercial business division said, “Our relationship with Artex Risk Solutions will combine Artex's extensive marketing force and knowledge in temporary staffing business with Zurich's underwriting capabilities.”

“In response to a declining economy, many temporary staffing firms have reduced in size over the past few years,” said Rosemarie Rogers, head of the workers' compensation segment in the Programs unit at Zurich. “This Temporary Staffing program will give customers an alternative to consider that may have been lacking previously.”
