Workers’ Compensation Educational Session Offered in Midland, TX on August 16

Austin, TX (WorkersCompensation.com) — The Midland Field Office of Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI-DWC) is hosting a brown bag educational session entitled New Rules on Medical Dispute Resolution on Thursday, August 16, 2012. The educational session is for all Texas workers' compensation participants, including: injured employees, health care providers, insurance carriers, claim adjusters and attorneys.

 

This free session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Midland Field Office, Midland Business Center, Building 3, Suite 310-N, 4500 West Illinois Avenue. The session will cover new TDI-DWC rules and processes for medical fee and medical necessity dispute resolution, including a new Benefit Review Conference for Medical Fee Dispute and new form requirements that took effect on June 1, 2012.
