Lakewood Ranch, FL ( WorkersCompensation.com)  – WorkCompCollege.com has announced a family of new educational programs to further serve the U.S. workers' compensation community. The company, having successfully launched its signature Workers’ Recovery Professional Certification Program (WRP), has embarked on the development of 4 new education platforms; an Advanced Training & Education Center (ATEC), a State Specific Training Module Program, a WorkCompCollege Associate Certification (ATEC-A), and a Technology Essentials Certification (ATEC-T).

Details on the new programs are as follows:

Advanced Training & Education Center (ATEC) – The Advanced Training & Education Center will be the nucleus for ongoing education and broad information services. Elective courses, webinars, articles, live programs, group projects, and more will be offered. Part of the purpose of the ATEC will be to provide an “Alumni Association” for WRP graduates, which will provide community support and idea sharing among this elite group of professionals. It is projected to be available early in the 2nd quarter of 2023 and will be available to both WRP and non-WRP students.

State Specific Training Module Program – The core of understanding workers’ compensation is knowing specific claim, legal, and ethics requirements of the jurisdiction(s) in which you work. The State Specific Module system will provide multiple online courses for each state that covers these essential topics. They are being produced with jurisdictional experts serving as strategic partners to WorkCompCollege.com. The classes will be updated annually or as needed based on legislative and regulatory activity. The state modules will be available as a standalone group offering, or in conjunction with the ATEC-A program. Each state module will issue a Certificate of Completion for verification purposes. The first states are scheduled to come online starting in the 2nd quarter of 2023, with all states completed by end of year.

WorkCompCollege Associate Certification (ATEC-A) – Described as an entry level program, the curriculum for the ATEC-A is largely comprised of base courses from the 9 schools of discipline that make up the flagship WRP program. Entry level employees, or organizations looking to enhance existing training programs, will find the offerings of the ATEC-A useful. Additionally, almost all credits from the ATEC-A will transfer to the WRP program if a student chooses to enroll in that at a later date. It is scheduled to be available at the start of the 2nd quarter of 2023.

Technology Essentials (ATEC-T) – Advances in technology, from predictive analytics to “big data” to artificial intelligence to chatbots / self-service apps, are coming to work comp at a dizzying speed. Knowing what these (and more) concepts are, as well as what they mean to processes and the human interaction, is important for all stakeholders. This multi-course curriculum, led by instructors within and outside of work comp, will not only answer the what and how but also the why and what’s next. Upon successful graduation, the student will be granted the ATEC-T certification. This is a stand-alone product, so there is no prerequisite of any other WorkCompCollege.com curriculum. It is projected to be available in the 2nd quarter of 2023.
