Wanda Blanche Taylor Named As NC Chief Deputy Commissioner

                               
Raleigh, NC (CompNewsNetwork) - Wanda Blanche Taylor has been named Chief Deputy Commissioner of the N.C. Industrial Commission, effective February 1, 2009. Ms. Taylor has been a Deputy Commissioner with the Industrial Commission since 1996. Prior to her work at the Commission, Ms. Taylor spent eight years in private practice civil litigation. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School. She brings a depth of experience, enthusiasm and dedication to service to her new role at the Commission.

Stephen T. Gheen, who formerly held the position of Chief Deputy Commissioner, will continue to serve the Industrial Commission as a Deputy Commissioner. We are grateful to Mr. Gheen for his accomplishments and many years of dedicated service.
