TX Administrative Code Chapter 180 Rules Stakeholder Meeting

                               
Austin, TX (CompNewsNetwork) - The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI-DWC), will hold a stakeholder meeting on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Central Standard Time). The stakeholder meeting will be held in the Tippy Foster Room at the TDI-DWC Central Office, 7551 Metro Center Drive, Suite 100 in Austin (http://www.tdi.state.tx.us/webinfo/tdidwc.html).

The purpose of the meeting is to provide workers compensation system participants and their agents an opportunity to comment on the implementation of the workers compensation legislation passed by the 79th Texas Legislature (House Bill 7) and the 80th Texas Legislature in the proposed informal working draft of the Chapter 180 rules that pertains to Monitoring and Enforcement, 28 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 180.

The meeting agenda includes two items: overview of the informal working draft rules; and stakeholder input and comments on informal draft rules.
