Austin, TX (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Austin Office of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI-DWC) is hosting an educational session entitled Transition of Legacy Claims to the Pharmacy Closed Formulary on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. The educational sessions are for all Texas workers' compensation participants, including: health care providers, pharmacists, insurance carriers, claim adjusters, case managers and attorneys.
This free session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the TDI-DWC Central Office, 7551 Metro Center Drive, Suite 100 in Austin. The sessions will provide information on the initial applicability and results of the pharmacy closed formulary rules, with a special focus on the transition of legacy claims to the closed formulary.
