TDI-DWC Dallas Office Moves On July 1

Austin, TX (CompNewsNetwork) - The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI-DWC) Dallas Office will be open at its a new location at 8 a.m. on July 1, 2009. The new address is 1515 W. Mockingbird Lane, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas, 75235, MS-101. The telephone number will remain 214-350-9299 and the fax number will remain 214-350-3750. The office serves injured employees and other workers' compensation system participants in Dallas, Kaufman and Rockwall counties.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on July 1 at the new office location with special guest Commissioner of Workers' Compensation Rod Bordelon and Office of Injured Employee Counsel Public Counsel Norman Darwin.

The old address of the TDI-DWC Dallas Office is 6363 Forest Park Road, Suite 900, Dallas, Texas 75235. This location will be closed June 29-30, 2009. If you are an injured employee or workers' compensation system participant needing service on these days, call 1-800-372-7713 and press “9”.
