Having just recently celebrated their fifth anniversary, SUNZ Insurance, a St. Petersburg-based workers' compensation company, has embraced this expansion and looks forward to the growth associated with it. Known primarily for their presence in Florida, SUNZ is now able to write workers' compensation policies in five southeastern states including: Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama and Georgia.
Doug Lilak, CEO of SUNZ Insurance Company said, “This is only the beginning for us, we hope to add several other states within the next couple of months. We could not be happier with the new additions and look forward to the growth of our company.”
In addition to the six states awaiting approval, SUNZ is strategically planning for growth over the next five years through state expansion, additional management experience and its strategic partnerships.
Lilak continued by saying, “We really wanted to jump on the opportunity to expand the business. As a workers' compensation provider, we have a lot to offer and can measure up to and exceed the expectations of any other company out there. We are on the rise and anticipate many positive changes in the weeks to come.”
With a combined 120+ years of PEO industry experience, the seasoned SUNZ team takes pride in their ability to provide PEO and Staffing Companies with personalized service and flexibility in developing coverage and program parameters that meet client needs.
