State Fund Teams Up With The WCIRB Team For Seminar

                               Pleasanton, CA (CompNewsNetwork) - State Compensation Insurance Fund is hosting a free seminar to help employers learn about the Cal/OSHA inspection process, what can be done to prepare for an inspection, and how to appeal a citation if one is issued. Marty Tamayo, Associate Engineer with the Cal/OSHA Standards Board, will also review Assembly Bills affecting business owners and the consequences of not complying with the standards.

In addition, Michael Vail, Policyholder Ombudsman for the Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau (WCIRB) will explain experience modifications and discuss 2010 and 2011 experience rating changes.

The seminar takes place September 23 in Pleasanton.

Registration and complimentary breakfast begin at 8:45 a.m. at the State Fund Bay Area Policy Services Office, 5890 Owens Drive, Pacific/Atlantic Room. The seminar will end at 12:00 p.m.
