Rich Hubbard Joins LWCC

                               

Baton Rouge, LA (WorkersCompensation.com) - LWCC, Louisiana’s largest workers’ compensation company, is pleased to announce Richard “Rich” Hubbard as SVP, Chief Underwriting Officer following a national search.  In this role, Rich will oversee the areas of underwriting, safety, premium audit, and policyholder operations, with a focus on innovating and elevating the policyholder experience. 

“Rich’s experience and expertise will allow us to work together with our agent partners to better prepare for the future of our rapidly changing industry,” says Kristin Wall, LWCC President and CEO. “Rich will be integral in creating new experiences that allow us to continue to provide best-in-class service.”

Hubbard joins the team from the Hartford, a Fortune 500 investment and insurance comapny. During his 15 year tenure he served as VP for Middle Markets and managed of a $500M book of business, almost half of which was workers’ compensation. Prior to that, he worked for PMA for 17 years, where he was heavily immersed in workers’ comp. In addition, Hubbard is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).  His educational experience includes a BBA and MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland and a leadership course from the Kellogg School of Management.
