Pinnacol Assurance Announces Donation to Help Wildfire Victims

Denver, CO (WorkersCompensation.com) – Pinnacol Assurance is making a $25,000 donation to assist with Colorado wildfire relief efforts. President and CEO Ken Ross made the announcement today.

“Our beloved state is facing a wildfire crisis of epic proportions and our thoughts and heartfelt concern are with everyone who has been touched by this catastrophic devastation,” said Ross. “Colorado has been Pinnacol's home for nearly 100 years, and we're committed to doing our part to help it heal from this terrible tragedy.”

Pinnacol conducted a donation drive among its nearly 600 employees and matched all gifts two for one.

“Pinnacol employees have a history of stepping up to the plate when our community is in need. We are proud of their dedication to our state and fortunate to be able to match their donations,” said Ross.

The company will also be collecting donations at their annual Pinnacol Foundation Golf Tournament. One hundred percent of the funds raised will go the Disaster Relief Fund of the Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross.

“Pinnacol is deeply appreciative of the work done by the thousands of firefighters who worked around the clock to fight the wildfires,” added Ross. “And we are grateful to the volunteers who are giving so generously of their time and resources to help those whose lives have been turned upside down by this tragedy.”
