OR WCB Admin Rule Review Extended

Portland, OR (CompNewsNetwork) - At its May 10, 2010 meeting, the Board Members discussed WCB's administrative rules, noting that it has been a number of years since it has invited comments from parties, practitioners, and the general public regarding its rules. Agreeing that it was appropriate to proceed with such an overview, the Members sought written comments concerning WCB's existing administrative rules. It was requested that written comments be received not later than July 30, 2010.
 
Since then, it has come to the WCB's attention that practitioners are desiring additional time in which to submit comments. The Members do not wish to preclude anyone from weighing in on such an important matter due to the press of business. Therefore, they are extending the time period in which to submit comment until September 27, 2010.
