OR WC Fatality Data Reports Update

Portland, OR (CompNewsNetwork) - The Quarterly Fatality Report for the second quarter of 2009 (04/01/2009-06/30/2009) is now available.  DCBS has received notification of a total of 4 compensable fatalities accepted for workers' compensation benefits for the second quarter of 2009, compared with 9 at the same time last year. 

The Quarterly Fatality Report presents compensable fatalities grouped by industry.  Last year's counts are included for comparison.  Please note that the current year's data are preliminary until the final count is released in the spring of next year.
