OK State Chamber Praises Announcement Of Workers' Comp Deal

Oklahoma City, OK (WorkersCompensation.com) - State Chamber President Fred Morgan comments on today's deal announcement, including workers' compensation reform, by the governor and legislative leaders.

“This deal is a homerun for Oklahoma's economy. It reduces taxes in a responsible way, utilizes our state's assets much like private industry does to maximize resources and save money for core services, and puts in place an administrative workers' compensation system that will help attract jobs and investment to our state while ensuring injured employees are protected,” said Morgan. “The people of Oklahoma should be proud of the House, Senate and governor today for their leadership in growing our state's economy and efforts to make Oklahoma the premiere place to do business in the nation.”
