Ohio Casualty Teams Up With National Alliance For Risk Managers Program

Fairfield, OH (CompNewsNetwork) - Ohio Casualty, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, is teaming with The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research to offer its Certified School Risk Managers (CSRM) Program in Ohio.

The five course professional designation program for those in the risk management role for school districts will be held on February 4 and 5 and will resume on September 29th at Ohio Casualty's home office in Fairfield, Ohio. Fundamentals of risk management, handling school risks, and measuring school risks are the first three courses which guide participants through the risk management process, emphasizing practice over theory. The final two courses, funding school risks and administering school risks, will be scheduled in early 2010.

"Loss prevention is at the heart of our commitment to creating safer learning environments, and is a large part of what sets Ohio Casualty's Schools Program apart from others," said Jeff Johnson, manager, Schools Program Marketing, Ohio Casualty. "It's an honor to be the company to team with The National Alliance to offer their leading specialized school risk management training for the first time in school districts throughout Ohio."

To complete the CSRM course of study and earn the CSRM designation, participants must successfully pass examinations for each course within three years. To maintain CSRM certification and ensure continuing career development, there is an annual continuing education requirement.
