NYWCB To Conduct "MAP" Educational Webinar

New York, NY (CompNewsNetwork) - The New York State Workers' Compensation Board has been engaged in a project to study and improve the administration of the Conciliation process. The project, known as the Managed Adjudication Path or "MAP," will introduce a series of administrative changes (including new forms, decisions, computer upgrades, etc.) to improve the handling and resolution of claims at the Board.

The Board will be holding a webinar on the project to be held Friday, May 7 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. This is an educational event, designed to inform stakeholders in the workers' compensation system about the MAP program and elicit feedback.

Some participants may attend the webinar live in Albany (space permitting). Other participants may register for streaming video of the webinar from any location. To pre-register, please email your name, affiliation, mailing address, phone number and preference for remote viewing or the studio to MAP@wcb.state.ny.us. Once registered, you will receive more details about the webinar.

In order to provide information that will be most beneficial, we ask that any questions you have prior to the webinar be emailed to MAP@wcb.state.ny.us. Live questions, in written format, will also be taken at the webinar, and those attending the webinar from remote locations will be able to e-mail questions during the webinar.
