NY Gov. Nominates Nine Court Of Claims Judges For Reappointment

                               

New York City, NY (CompNewsNetwork) - Governor David A. Paterson today announced he will nominate nine Court of Claims Judges for reappointment. The nominees include M. William Boller, John J. Brunetti, William C. Donnino, Philip M. Grella, Robert K. Holdman, Guy J. Mangano, Jr., Nicholas V. Midey, Norman I. Siegel and Ronald A. Zweibel for reappointment to the Court of Claims.

"I commend the New York State Judicial Screening Committee for recommending these exceptional jurists to the Court of Claims," Governor Paterson said. "I am confident that each of them will continue to serve the people of the State of New York with great distinction."

Judge M. William Boller has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice in Erie County since 2006. He received his bachelor's degree from The American University in 1972 and his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1980.

Judge John J. Brunetti has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice in Onondaga County since 1995. He received his bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College in 1970 and his law degree from New York Law School in 1974. Judge Brunetti also received his Masters of Law from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1975.

Judge William C. Donnino has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice since 1989. He is currently the Supervising Judge of the Criminal Courts in Nassau County. He received his bachelor's degree from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1963 and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1966. 

Judge Philip M. Grella has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice in Nassau County since 2003. He received his bachelor's degree from St. John's University in 1967 and his law degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1971.

Judge Robert K. Holdman has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice in Westchester County since 2005. He received his bachelor's degree from Fordham University in 1986 and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1991.

Judge Guy J. Mangano, Jr. has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice in Kings County since 2000. He received his bachelor's degree from Alfred University in 1981 and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1986. 

Judge Nicholas V. Midey has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims in Onondaga County since 2006. He received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1983 and his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1987. 

Judge Norman I. Siegel has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims in Oneida County since 2000. He received his bachelor's degree from Colgate University in 1963 and his law degree from Albany Law School in 1966. 

Judge Ronald A. Zweibel has served as a Judge of the Court of Claims/Acting Supreme Court Justice in New York County since 2004. He received his bachelor's degree from the New York University in 1962 and his Masters of Law from New York Law School in 1965.
