NV DIR Publishes New Medical Fee Schedule

Reno, NV (CompNewsNetwork) - Pursuant to NRS 616C.260, the Nevada Department of Industrial Relations has published the latest Nevada Medical Fee Schedule (MFS) Maximum Allowable Provider Payment (eff. Feb. 1, 2011 – Jan. 31, 2012).

The 2011 MFS includes increases per the 2010 medical consumer price index (up 3.4%). On Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 pm , DIR/WCS will conduct free training in the Henderson office that discusses the 2011 MFS, including the new trauma activation fee, PPD stress and other medical-related issues. In addition, Jacque Everhart will provide training on Nevada's Subsequent Injury Fund.

Training will be held in our Henderson office located at 1301 N. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 200, Henderson, NV 89074. Note: We'll be in a new first-floor training facility -- signs will provide directions.
