NV DIR Calls For Comments On Trauma Activation Fee

Carson City, NV (CompNewsNetwork) - The Division of Industrial Relations, Department of Business and Industry, State of Nevada (the “Division”) will hold a second public meeting on the need to include an item in the Medical Fee Schedule for reimbursement for Trauma Center Response.

The first meeting to discuss a reimbursement fee for trauma activation was held on November 16, 2009. Based upon testimony provided at the meeting, along with subsequent written comments and pertinent information reviewed in the course of Division research, the Division recommends the adoption of a set trauma activation fee of $3,993.66.

The public meeting will be conducted, via videoconference, at 9:00 a.m., May 12, 2010, at the following locations:
