NFIB Names EMPLOYERS Provider Of Choice For Its 22,000 CA Members

Reno, NV (CompNewsNetwork) - The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has officially named EMPLOYERS®, America's small business insurance specialist®, its workers' compensation insurance provider of choice for its 22,000 California members. NFIB selected EMPLOYERS because of its strong presence in California, and its focus and expertise as a specialty writer of workers' compensation insurance for small businesses.

As part of the agreement, NFIB's California members are eligible to receive a five percent discount on workers' compensation insurance policies with EMPLOYERS through its subsidiary Employers Compensation Insurance Company. Members can access this valuable benefit through EMPLOYERS appointed agencies.

“NFIB/California is delighted to provide our members access to discounted workers' compensation policies and value-added services tailored to the needs of California's small businesses through our agreement with EMPLOYERS,” said John Kabateck, NFIB/California Executive Director.  “EMPLOYERS has a proven track record of providing cost-effective workers' compensation services to small businesses, and has long been committed to the California market and our members, making this agreement an ideal fit.”

“As the innovators and job generators driving economic growth in our country, small businesses face unique challenges, particularly in California,” said Hale Johnston, senior vice president, EMPLOYERS.  “Just like the NFIB, we are 100 percent focused on meeting the unique needs of small businesses, which makes our agreement a natural fit. Together, we are able to create a powerful value proposition for NFIB's California members that delivers a robust service package at an affordable price, which enables small businesses to better compete in a volatile economy.”
