New Name For Workers' Comp Provider

Lansing, MI (CompNewsNetwork) - MCIM, formerly known as Michigan Construction Industry Mutual Insurance Company, today announced their new name - Michigan Commercial Insurance Mutual. MCIM's Board of Directors unanimously agreed that, "The new name more clearly represents our focus on providing exemplary customer service and coverage to virtually all business classification codes and supports the company's continued expansion."

Along with the name change, the company has launched a corporate-wide rebranding initiative designed to further communicate its reach into new markets. Eleanor Powell-Yoder, MCIM's President & CE0 since 1984 stated, "I am so proud of all that MCIM has accomplished since it was founded nearly 29 years ago. The new name marks yet another significant milestone in the company's history of successfully serving its customers."
