NCCI Announcing Data Quality Incentive Program Changes

Circular DQ-2012-03, released on July 31, 2012 announced the future implementation of the following two new Data Quality Incentive Program debit categories for Detailed Claim Information (DCI):

  • 18 Month Valuations Past Due
  • >18 Month Valuations Past Due

As detailed in the circular, NCCI is providing industry lead time to prepare for the new categories—which become effective in January 2014.

The circular also announced the elimination of DQIP's Experience Rated Units Debit Category. The September 2012 Data Management and Statistical Agent Fees Billing is the last month in which this category will be included.

Also, in September 2012 the Incentive Results screen in Data Manager Dashboard will be updated to reflect these DQIP changes.
