National Workers' Compensation Defense Network Announces Free Semi-Annual Seminar In Chicago

                               Chicago, IL (CompNewsNetwork) - The National Workers' Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN) has announced that its next semi-annual workers' compensation seminar will be held October 6 & 7, 2010, in Chicago, Illinois.

The Seminar, which is offered free of charge to employers and insurance professionals, is designed to provide current and useful information for all risk managers, claims handlers and other individuals tasked with managing workers' compensation programs and issues. This seminar includes sessions entitled "Establishing a Multi-Jurisdictional, Uniform Claims Handling/Defense Protocol”, “Minimizing Medicare Set-Aside and Future Medical Exposure”, and “A View from the Bench”. Additionally, 3 different breakout sessions are included. Attendees will have the option of attending either "The Legislative Process---Make Change Happen!", "Accident Reconstruction/Ergonomics---Does The Injury Fit The Accident?", or "Mitigating Exposure with Return To Work Solutions".

In addition to the sessions, breakout information for 35 to 40 states will be available from the more than 40 Defense Law Firm's that comprise the NWCDN. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon cocktail reception are also included.
