Michigan Gov. Makes Appointments

                               Lansing, MI (CompNewsNetwork) - Governor Rick Snyder has appointed E. Louis Ognisanti of Saginaw County and Chris D. Slater of Kent County to the Workers' Compensation Board of Magistrates. Both are appointed for terms expiring on January 26, 2015.

Lisa A. Klaeren of Kalamazoo County, David P. Grunewald of Wayne County, and Beatrice B. Logan of Oakland County were all reappointed to the Board for terms expiring January 26, 2015.

G. Jay Quist of Kent County was appointed as chairperson of the Board of Magistrates, and Gregory A. Przybylo of Ingham County was appointed as chairperson of the Workers' Compensation Appellate Commission. Both terms expire at the pleasure of the Governor.

Jeffrey V. Stuckey of Ingham County was appointed as chairperson of the Workers' Compensation Qualifications Advisory Committee and serves at the pleasure of the Governor.
