MEMIC Promotes Austin to President, Atlantic Region

Portland, ME (WorkersCompensation.com) - Workers' compensation specialist The MEMIC Group has announced the promotion of Tod Austin to President, Atlantic Region.
 
Austin worked for more than 30 years in the independent agency and brokerage business before joining The MEMIC Group in 2014 as Vice President, Underwriting. Austin works out of The MEMIC Group's Tampa, Florida office leading the group's growth plans for the Atlantic Region, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
 
Austin is an accredited member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) Society. He has served on the boards of directors for the Chittenden County United Way, the Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce and the Vermont Chapter of the American Red Cross. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Vermont.
