MedRisk’s Don McCarter Shares How Kids’ Chance Scholarships Help Children Of Injured Workers At PA Workers’ Comp Conference

King of Prussia, PA (WorkersCompensation.com) - Don McCarter, regional sales manager for MedRisk, Inc. and Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania president, shared the goals and accomplishments of the non-profit organization during the recent Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers' Compensation Annual Conference. Kids' Chance provides scholarship grants for college and vocational education to the children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in work-related accidents. MedRisk is a leading managed care company specializing in the physical rehabilitation of injured workers and was also an exhibitor at the conference.

McCarter's presentation focused on Pennsylvania teenagers whose Kids' Chance scholarships enabled them to attend universities or vocational schools. The annual two-day conference is presented by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry's Bureau of Workers' Compensation. This year it was held June 11-12 in Hershey, Pa.
