MD WCC Increases Assessment For Uninsured Employers' Fund

Baltimore, MD (CompNewsNetwork) - Pursuant to the direction of the Board of the Uninsured Employers' Fund, the Maryland Commission is increasing the assessments under Labor & Employment Article §9-1007(b).

Effective July 1, 2009, all applicable Orders issued by the Commission will include an additional one percent (1%) assessment to be paid by Employers/Insurers for maintenance of the Uninsured Employers' Fund.
