MD Proposed Changes To COMAR 14.09.01.19

Baltimore, MD (CompNewsNetwork) - The Commission will hold a public hearing on June 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. to receive comments regarding the proposed changes to COMAR 14.09.01.19 Agreements for Final Compromise and Settlement at 10 E. Baltimore St., Baltimore, MD.

The purpose of COMAR 14.09.01.19 is to: (1) establish guidelines for reviewing and approving proposed workers' compensation settlement agreements in compliance with the review thresholds established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS); and (2) enumerate the data elements that must be contained within the body of all settlement agreements.
