LWCC Dedicates Foster Learning Center

Baton Rouge, LA (WorkersCompensation.com) - LWCC, Louisiana’s premier workers’ compensation company, officially dedicated the Governor M.J. “Mike” Foster, Jr. Learning Center at its headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The facility, which bears the name of the late Governor Foster, will serve as a valuable resource for employees, agents, policyholders, and partners to cultivate innovation and learning that will help Louisiana progress into the future. 

“The Foster Learning Center provides LWCC a best-in-class meeting facility where we can bring together thought leaders to work toward solutions that will make an impact across the state through powerful collaboration and creative problem solving,” said Kristin Wall, President and Chief Executive Officer of LWCC.

The dedication ceremony featured an address from LWCC leadership and remarks from special guests such as Boysie Bollinger, Chairman and CEO of Bollinger Enterprises; Stephen Perry, current President and CEO of New Orleans & Company; and even a video message from President George W. Bush — all friends and former colleagues of Governor Foster. 

“Governor Foster’s importance to Louisiana and LWCC cannot be understated. Like him, we want to embrace powerful ideas and direct them toward knowledge, progress, and prosperity,” said LWCC President and CEO Kristin Wall. “This space ensures that his legacy will live on at LWCC while supporting our ongoing efforts to elevate Louisiana’s position in America.”

The goal of the new facility is to aid in LWCC’s purpose to help Louisiana thrive—a purpose instilled in LWCC by Governor Foster. The Foster Learning Center is on the ground floor of LWCC’s home office which is centrally located in Baton Rouge on S. Acadian Thruway, just off the I-10 interstate exit.
