Kind Souls Foundation Promotes Andrew Bloom to Managing Director

Workers' Compensation Industry Leader Recognized for Transformative Growth and Mission-Driven Leadership 

Kind Souls Foundation (KSF), a nonprofit organization providing free, peer-led emotional support to individuals navigating work-disrupting illness or injury, is proud to announce the promotion of Andrew Bloom to Managing Director. 

This promotion recognizes Andrew's extraordinary contributions to the growth, structure, and visibility of Kind Souls Foundation and marks a significant milestone in the organization's continued expansion across the United States. 

Andrew Bloom doesn't just represent Kind Souls Foundation. He has helped shape it. 

Since joining KSF, Andrew has been instrumental in transforming the organization from a growing nonprofit into a recognized and trusted resource within the workers' compensation industry. His work spans volunteer development, employer engagement, clinical partnerships, and national advocacy. In each area, he has brought the same commitment: that every person navigating a work-disrupting health event deserves real, human support. 

In 2026 alone, Andrew formalized KSF's Volunteer Training Program (VTP), establishing a consistent and high-quality standard for peer support delivered through the KSF Warmline. He onboarded six new volunteers and increased volunteer utilization to over five hours per week, ensuring that more injured workers receive timely, meaningful connection. 

He also developed and launched KSF's Technical Assitance (TA) Program, creating a formal pathway for employers to connect their workforce with KSF's emotional support services and bridging the gap between workplace injury and whole-person care. 

Beyond internal development, Andrew has been the driving force behind the exponential growth of KSF's key partnerships across the workers' compensation industry. Through his relationship-building with case managers, insurers, attorneys, employers, and healthcare providers, KSF's mission has reached more people in more states than ever before. He has represented Kind Souls Foundation on national stages at events including the Workers' Compensation Institute (WCI) and National Comp, bringing KSF's voice into the rooms where the industry's most important conversations are happening.

Alongside the Warmline, KSF delivers Boxes of Kindness directly to injured workers, curated care packages designed to bring comfort and a reminder that someone is in their corner. The organization also provides structured Resource Navigation to help callers access practical support, and maintains formal Workplace Partnerships with employers, case managers, insurers, and healthcare providers to ensure injured workers are connected to KSF at the moment they need it most. 

KSF operates across all 50 states, requires no referral letter, no insurance, and no cost to access. 

Kind Souls Foundation is the Official Affiliate Foundation of National Comp 2026, a proud partner of the NYS Workers' Compensation Board's Integrative Services Program, and a listed resource of the NYS Office of Mental Health's Trauma-Informed Network and Resource Center.
