Iselin, NJ (WorkersCompensation.com) – Kids’ Chance of New Jersey (KCNJ) recently held their annual Gala Dinner, where they presented college scholarships to 20 students and raised a record breaking $211,355 for the night. Kids’ Chance is an organization that provides scholarships and educational opportunities to children of a parent who has been seriously injured or killed on the job. Now in 47 states, the Kids’ Chance organization has presented over 6,000 scholarships totaling more than $20,000,000 since 1988.

The gala dinner was the seventh annual event produced by Kids’ Chance of New Jersey, and was held July 11, 2019 at the Delta Hotel in Iselin. It was largely attended by professionals who work within the workers’ compensation industry.

KCNJ President Joseph Sabatini reports that 398 people attended this year’s event, and 18 of 20 scholarship recipients and their families were able to attend. Bob Wilson, president and CEO of WorkersCompensation.com, was the evenings Keynote speaker. He said, “It was a remarkable event, and it is clear the New Jersey comp community has fully embraced the Kids’ Chance mission,” and added, “The amount of work that went into producing that night was tremendous. The volunteers of KCNJ deserve a great deal of appreciation for creating such a successful function.”
