Kids' Chance of Illinois To Host Charity Golfing Event

Bolingbrook, IL (WorkersCompensation.com) – Kids’ Chance of Illinois today announced their 1st Annual, Chicagoland Golf Fundraiser to benefit their kids. The event will be held on Monday, August 26th at the Bolingbrook Golf Club in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Participants can register online at: http://www.kidschanceofillinois.com 

Golfer registration begins at 9:30AM with a shotgun start at 11:00am including 18 holes, Hole in 2 Contest for a three day trip to Pebble Beach, lunch, dinner, awards, raffles, and silent auction. Auction items include: Northwestern Tickets and Tailgate package, four box seat ticket to the White Sox vs. Tigers game, Golf Pro lesson, official Walter Payton jersey and much, much more. Corporate and Individual Sponsorships are also still available and donations are being accepted.

This event is KCOI’s largest fundraiser of the year with a goal of raising $50,000 for more kids. In 2019 we awarded nearly 40 semester scholarships and this number is expected to grow as Illinois is one of the highest need states nationally. 

Scholarship recipients will be in attendance and share a few stories. Devan, completed his Associates Degree with the assistance of Kids’ Chance and shares “I was recently accepted to Northeastern Illinois University and will pursue my degree in Human Resource Development with a minor in criminal justice….Kids' Chance provided such a financial relief and helped us recover from my Fathers career ending-work related injury. The effects of his accident changed our livelihood and sense of security. I will be forever grateful for what this organization has done for my family and me. It is inspiring to know this organization exists to assist families in such a tremendous way."
