Insurance Industry Veteran John D'Alusio Joins MEDVAL

                               Columbia, MD (CompNewsNetwork) - MEDVAL is pleased to announce that John D'Alusio has joined the company as Executive Vice President Operations - East Coast.  John brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience in executive management positions in administration, field operations, and claim technical areas.  Most recently he was Executive Vice President/Senior Claims and Operations Officer at Avizent, a national Property/Casualty TPA.  In addition to extensive experience in state and federal workers' compensation, John has expertise in the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance, having served as Vice President at two major MSA providers.  

John is a frequent speaker at national workers' compensation conferences and has published numerous articles in risk and insurance publications. He is a contributing author for The Complete Guide to Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance published by LexisNexis in 2010.  MEDVAL's General Counsel, Jennifer Jordan, served as editor-in-chief of this first comprehensive resource for achieving MSP compliance.

John received his M.A. from Montclair State University and his B.A. from St. John's University.  He also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) designations.
