Chicago, IL (CompNewsNetwork) – The Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse of Chicago, IL has announced its move into a brand new facility. They are inviting the public to come visit the new location at 300 N. Elizabeth St, Suite #310C.
According to Administrator, Tammiko Bess, MBIC is a day habilitation program for survivors of traumatic brain injury; veterans who have suffered TBI, and stroke survivors. They have been in existence 11 years, and serve people from all parts of Illinois.
The program provides real life opportunities to be productive and the program focuses on the member's abilities and not on their disabilities. The Clubhouse provides for a structured and task orientated environment.
Anyone who knows of any persons with traumatic injuries, stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors, injured due to substance abuse, lack of oxygen or infections to the brain is urged to contact The Midwest Brain Injury Clubhouse.
The hours of daily operation are Monday thru Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm. If you have any questions or are interested in coming in for a tour please contact the Clubhouse directly, at 312.226.8720 and ask for Tammiko Bess to schedule an appointment.
