GA SBWC Posts WC-26 Reminder

Atlanta, GA (CompNewsNetwork) - The WC-26, Consolidated Yearly Report of Medical Only Cases and Annual Payments on Indemnity Claims, is filed on or before March 1st following each calendar year in respect to all medical and indemnity payments for the previous year for work related injuries. File annually even if no reportable injuries or payment occurred during the reporting year.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE WC-26

Section B - Medical Only Claims

Total Number of Medical Only Claims this Year
Report the number of Medical Only claims that occurred in 2010.

Total Amount Paid on Medical Only Claims this Year
Report the total amount of all medical only claim payments in 2010 regardless of the date of injury.

Section C - Indemnity Claims

Total Amount Paid on Indemnity Claims This Year:
Report the total amount of payments made on indemnity claims in 2010, regardless of the date of injury.

Medical includes all medical payments made on indemnity claims except payments to hospitals, regardless of the date of injury.

Hospital includes all payments made on indemnity claims to hospitals, regardless of the date of injury.

Total Number of Indemnity Claims this Year:
Report the number of Indemnity Claims that occurred in 2010.
