Former Idaho Industrial Commission PIO to take on Media Role at WorkersCompensation.com

Sarasota, FL (WorkersCompensation.com) - Journalist Dara Barney will join WorkersCompensation.com as Senior Editor of Premium Media starting Jan. 2, 2017. 

As the former Public Information Specialist for the Idaho Industrial Commission, Barney will utilize her knowledge of workers' compensation to build and direct the Premium Media segment of WorkersCompensation.com, due to be released in the first quarter of 2017.

Her responsibilities will include curating news content and developing in-depth investigative stories that are both applicable and pertinent to the workers’ compensation community.

She is very excited to take on the role, and lead staff writers across the country in putting together solid, fact-based, and reliable news pieces.

Along with her experience working for the Idaho Industrial Commission, Dara worked in publicity for a Boise-based book publishing firm, and spent time as a journalist and editor in Santa Barbara, CA; Moscow, ID; and Boise, ID.

More information about the new Premium Media Service will be available in January.
