San Bernardino,CA ( WorkersCompensation.com) - What’s new at the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC)? Are you really ready to file a declaration of readiness to proceed? What is the difference between the Anti-Fraud Unit and the Special Adjudication Unit? What is a PEO?

These are just some of the questions to be answered at DWC’s 30th annual educational conference. Held in person for the first time since 2020, the conference will take place March 9-10, 2023 at the Oakland Marriott City Center Hotel and March 23-24, 2023 at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.

This annual event is the largest workers’ compensation training in the state and allows claims administrators, attorneys, medical providers, return-to-work specialists, employers, human resources and others to learn firsthand about the most recent developments in the system. Attendees will be interested in learning about current topics from a variety of workers’ compensation experts from DWC, other state and public agencies, and the private sector.

The registration fee will increase effective February 1, 2023, so do not hesitate to visit the Website if you are interested in attending the event.
