Dean Watters Appointed President Of Patriot Underwriters, Inc.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot National Insurance Group announced today the appointment of Dean D. Watters as President of its subsidiary Patriot Underwriters, Inc.  Mr. Watters was previously Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Patriot National Insurance Group and will retain these responsibilities.  In his new role, Mr. Watters will oversee Patriot National's Managing General Agency, Program Administration and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) businesses.

"Dean brings a wealth of experience to the Patriot team," said Steven M. Mariano, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.  "His extensive background in sales, operations and outsourcing makes him ideally suited to lead Patriot Underwriters as it develops into a premier provider of workers' compensation products and services."

Mr. Watters joined Patriot National Insurance Group in 2008.  Before joining Patriot National, Mr. Watters was Vice President/General Manager of the Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Insurance Services Division.  Mr. Watters has also held leadership positions at CyberComp, American International Group, Fremont Compensation Insurance Company and Zenith National.  He is a graduate of the University of Alberta (BS) and the University of Colorado (MBA).
