Dalynn Hoch Named Chief Financial Officer for Zurich in North America

                               

Schaumburg, IL (WorkersCompensation.com) -  – Zurich in North America (ZNA) announced today that Dalynn Hoch has been named its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Hoch succeeds Vibhu Sharma who has been appointed to the position of Group Controller at Zurich's Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. Sharma succeeds Malcolm Gilbert who will retire in 2013.

“Dalynn brings a strong track record to this important role,” said Mike Foley, Zurich's Regional Chairman of North America and CEO North America Commercial. “Since July, 2011 she has been on an international assignment that focused on multiple transformation projects with Finance teams around the globe that delivered an executable transformation plan.”

Hoch joined Zurich in 2009 as head of the North American Commercial's Finance Planning & Performance Management (PPM) team and was also a member of the ZNA Finance leadership team. Before her international assignment, Hoch was charged with designing and building the PPM competency for the Finance Center of Excellence and continuing the development of tools and dashboards that strengthened analytic capabilities.

Prior to joining Zurich, Hoch was a partner at KPMG, working for the international accounting firm for 15 years. She has a degree in international business and accounting from Northwestern College in Saint Paul, Minn.
