California DWC Posts Annual Audit Unit Report

Oakland, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) has posted the 2011 DWC Audit Unit annual report on its website. The Audit Unit annual report provides information on how claims administrators audited by the DWC in 2010 performed and includes a ranking report.

The 2011 Audit Unit annual report details the results of 52 audits conducted in 2010 and provides statewide listing of all audits conducted together with analyses of cited violations and compensation found due and unpaid to injured workers. Performance ratings, cited violations and compensation due are also detailed in exhibits for the individual audits. The report also includes the administrative director's ranking report which lists all claims administrators audited during the period according to their performance.
