California DA Charges Man With Conspiracy To Falsify Wages

San Bernadino, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - The District Attorney's office filed charges against a Hesperia insurance broker accused of conspiring with his client to defraud an insurance company of more than $100,000 by falsifying employee wages.

Gregory Santolucito, the 32-year-old president of GSS Insurance Services, is scheduled to be arraigned on July 5.

Co-defendant Erick Gamm, 43-year-old owner of West Coast Steel & Processing in Chino, is scheduled to be arraigned June 28.

Between 2008 and 2010, Santolucito allegedly conspired with Gamm and lied about the kind of job Gamm's employees were performing to reduce Gamm's workers' comp insurance premium, according to DA Senior Investigator Phil Jonas.

Gamm was arrested April 30 and booked into West Valley Detention Center, while Santolucito surrendered himself to the West Valley Detention Center on May 4.
