CA State Fund and the American Cancer Society Team Up for a Cancer-Free Future

Pleasanton, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - Since forming a strategic alliance with the American Cancer Society (ACS) in 2017, State Fund has helped advance the fight for a world without cancer. Employees throughout California participate in Relay for Life and Making Strides events to raise funds and awareness for ACS. Leading by example, CEO Vern Steiner is a two-time winner of the CEO Fit2Be Cancer Free challenge. Individually and in groups, State Fund employees continue to support ACS in their efforts.
State Fund contributed a total of $104,189 to ACS in 2021. The much-needed funds will help support the reopening of Hope Lodge facilities, relaunch Road to Recovery, fund a national Get Screened campaign, and more
