CA OSIP Posts FAQs on SB 863 Requirements For Self-Insurers

Sacramento, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Office of Self Insurance Plans (OSIP) has posted to its website helpful FAQs regarding the changes Senate Bill 863 makes for self-insurers in California.

The FAQ topics include the following:

  • What SB 863's regulations require of self-insurers
  • Who must file an actuarial study
  • When the actuarial study must be filed
  • Which actuaries are qualified
  • SB 863's effect on security deposits

The FAQs, along with the new regulations, can be found on OSIP's website.
