CA Director’s Advisory Forum On WC Assessments

Oakland, CA (CompNewsNetwork) - Meet with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) leadership to discuss details on DIR's plans for the year ahead and the upcoming 2011 workers' comp assessments.
 
DIR participants will include Director John C. Duncan, Labor Commissioner Angela Bradstreet, Cal/OSHA Chief Len Welsh, Division of Workers' Compensation Acting Administrative Director Carrie Nevans, Self-Insurance Plans Manager Jim Ware, and the Department's Chief Financial Officer Greg Edwards.
Department staff will share the early estimated assessment for 2011 and discuss assessment methodology. The Director and Division Chiefs will discuss Department and Division priorities. This will be an important opportunity for the DIR's senior management to hear from key stakeholders.
